In December 2010, the great LINE DANCER was inducted
into the RACING HALL OF FAME.

The Hall of Fame is the highest award a horse can be given in Arabian Racing. Unlike the Darleys that are awarded every year, the Hall of Fame awards showcase only those that exhibit true, historical greatness and may not have a horse to be inducted every year.

The word Great means "much higher in some quality or degree: much above the ordinary."

The horse bestowed with this honor shall have made a significant contribution to Arabian racing in the United States through the horse's own performance and the performance of its progeny. Strict criteria apply, and entry to the Hall of Fame is so strict that in fact it has been 4 years since a horse has qualified for this honor.

This program of ultimate recognition was originally designated by members of the Trust. It was addressed and approved by the Arabian Horse Trust Board in 2008 that the Racing Hall of Fame and the Tent of Honor would move under the organizational umbrella of the Arabian Jockey Club. The earliest inductees to the Hall of Fame included Samtyr, *Sambor, *Orzel, Kontiki, *Mohacz, Nusabre, ZT Ali Baba, and Wiking. We are very proud to see LINE DANCER stand among these and other great legends who have made such a dramatic impact on the Arabian horse breed and the sport of Arabian racing.

Owner Lapco Arabians, breeder Danny & Miriam Garrett, jockey Natividad Alcala and trainer Nicole Holst in charge.
