Toskhara Arabians has been Christine and my focus since 1989 when we bought our first mare MIA TOSKHARA. (Mi Tosk X Khara Mia by Khemosabi).
Mia represents many of the things that we wanted to achieve with Arabian horses.  She was a halter Champion and she was a performance Champion.
A few years ago we advanced our thinking with a "Toskhara Mission Statement" which I share below.
Toskhara Arabians is dedicated to breeding first quality Arabian horses.  We heavily use but are not constrained to imported Polish bloodstock.
 
It is our objective to breed purebred Arabian horses that live on in the breed and are sought in future pedigrees.  A Toskhara Arabian is:
  • Beautiful
  • Athletic
  • Correct
  • Healthy
  • Proud
We will strive to develop each foal to its full potential, providing each with good care and training.  We will make sure that no horse is abused.
 
We will promote the Arabian horse in whatever way we can.
 
When we compete we will strive to do our best but the mental and physical welfare of the horse comes first.  We will be good losers and good winners.  
 
We will seek to improve the lot of the Arabian horse by campaigning for best practices in races, shows and other venues.
 
We will deal with each of our customers in an open and honest manner and treat them as we wish to be treated.  We will sell quality horses at fair prices.
 
We will treat our employees fairly but expect good work for good pay.  We will make sure that each employee benefits from the success of Toskhara Arabians.
 
We will strive to make a profit but we know that a long term investment of money, work and talent are required.
